Dr. Anthony Fauci

Dr. Anthony S. Fauci - you've probably seen his name floating around during this pandemic. The Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) since 1984, Dr. Fauci is the nation's leading expert on infectious diseases, overseeing research methodologies to prevent, diagnose, and treat established and new infectious diseases. Not to mention, throughout his term, he has been an advisor to six Presidents on domestic and global health issues. As one of the key public figures in the fight against COVID-19, Dr. Fauci's leadership and expertise in infectious diseases has played a huge role in slowing down the spread. Feeding America

For over 35 years, Feeding America has responded to the hunger crisis in America by providing food to people in need through a nationwide network of food banks and engaging our country in the endless fight to end hunger. We chose this organization because we felt compelled to give back to the community in some way that everyone would benefit. With the shocking visuals of long lines of cars all over the country waiting for food, we decided to support Feed America's COVID19 Response Fund as they are actively working within their national food bank network helping those in this time of need. We're so grateful to have been connected with Shae through one of our own sockprints staff members. (You might remember her from our giveaway, too!) She's an illustrator and designer passionate about animal rights. One of her goals is to raise awareness on animal rights through her work. Through her platform, she hopes to share their stories and help them find their forever home.
